About
I am a software engineer from an agricultural family in a small Indian village near Tiruppur. For much of my childhood, radio was the only entertainment at home; I did not see a television until I was about 25. Life was still full: friends, wells used for farm water, tractors in the fields, cows, bullocks, and other farm animals that often felt like real companions.
After school, my family looked toward Tiruppur's textile industry, but I missed textile engineering admission and found a new computer science course almost by accident. That was the first time I heard the word "computer." I stayed with it, studied computer applications, found my first job in Coimbatore, and came to Switzerland in 1999. Since then I have worked across different fields and levels, and I now write software at one of Switzerland's largest banks.
Interests
I like building practical software with clear behavior, durable records, and simple explanations — see Open Source for what I have shared so far.
Open Source
Open source projects is the home for public work. Smara Account is my first open source repository; more projects may follow as they become useful enough to share.
